Bach’s musical account of the Christmas story remains a cherished tradition every year not only in Germany, but throughout Europe. We invite you to join us as the Consort inaugurates its annual observance of the same tradition in DC this season! You’ll hear five of the six cantatas that comprise the composer’s epic Weihnachts-Oratorium, thrillingly delivered by the Consort musicians and soloists.

Subscriptions are currently on sale to the general public. The 2019–20 season, opening Sunday, September 22, features four subscription concerts at National Presbyterian Church and eight chamber series concerts on Friday evenings at Live! at 10th & G and on Saturday evenings at Virginia Theological seminary.

A subscription to the Washington Bach Consort allows you to enjoy performances throughout the season, including the Series at National Presbyterian Church and the Chamber Series at Live! at 10th & G, at a discount off the single ticket price.
Priority Seating
Subscribers receive first choice in seat selection.
Additional Tickets
Wish to bring guests? Subscribers may purchase additional tickets throughout the season at the discounted subscription rate.
Ticket Exchange
If unable to attend a performance, subscribers may exchange tickets for another concert during the season.
Ticket Donations
Prior to a performance, subscribers may return tickets marked “donated” and receive a receipt for tax purposes for the value of the tickets.
Season Preview
Subscribers will receive an invitation to our season preview, featuring insights, musical illustrations and refreshments.
Four-concert and three-concert subscriptions are available. Please note that there is no elevator to the balcony. The church has ample free parking. Concerts include admission (limited space) to a pre-concert lecture.
