Bach to You

Washington Bach Consort musicians bring the music of J.S. Bach and other Baroque composers directly to senior living and residential communities throughout the Washington, DC area.

Through “Bach to You,” Bach Consort musicians perform intimate chamber concerts in the familiar surroundings of residents’ own communities. Each year, different groups of singers and instrumentalists create new programs designed to be accessible and enjoyable for both longtime early music listeners and those discovering this repertoire for the first time.

Performances include brief introductions and stories that offer context for the music, and musicians are always happy to spend time talking with residents after the concert.

Audiences have warmly welcomed “Bach to You,” and since the program began three years ago, every participating community has invited the Consort to return the following year.
