St. John Passion, Devotion & Contemplation, Concerti Virtuosi Cancellation Info:
We are offering three options for those with tickets to the March 21 and March 22, 2020, St. John Passion concerts:
- Please consider supporting the Bach Consort by donating your ticket(s) back for a face-value tax deduction. No action is needed. If we do not hear from you by March 31, 2020 we will automatically convert your ticket(s) to a tax-deductible donation to the Consort.
- You may exchange your ticket(s) to be redeemed during the remainder of this current season or the upcoming 2020–2021 Concert Season.
- In light of these health and safety precautions, the Consort is amending its no refund policy. You may request a full refund for your ticket(s). (It may take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.)
If you are in a position to do so, we strongly encourage you to consider donating your tickets back in order to inhibit the financial impact this will have on our organization and most importantly the lives of our hard working and talented musicians.
Due to the high volume of calls, if you’re unable to donate, please email your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org. If it is urgent feel free to call us at 202.429.2121.
BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE
Call 202.429.2121 to purchase tickets 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon–Fri.
Tickets are available online at our website www.bachconsort.org until 12 p.m. the Friday before a concert unless otherwise noted.
DAY OF TICKETS
Tickets are available for purchase at the venue 75 minutes prior to the performance.
For sold-out concerts, the Bach Consort does not offer a wait-list. However, there is a strong possibility of walk-up tickets on the day of the performance as we often receive returned ticket donations. To be considered for walk-up tickets, please arrive when the box office opens 75 minutes prior to the performance time and give your name to the Consort ticket-selling staff. If we have available seats, we will sell you a ticket. Returned tickets will be made available for purchase 30 minutes prior to the concert. The Bach Consort cannot guarantee the availability of walk-up tickets on the day of sold-out concerts.
If you cannot use some or all of your tickets on the day of a performance, please return tickets at least 30 minutes prior to the concert. While we cannot issue refunds, all returned tickets will be processed as a donation to the Bach Consort. You can also return tickets at any time prior to the concert by calling our offices at 202.429.2121.
Patrons have the option to receive tickets in the mail up to two weeks prior to the concert. Any orders placed after that time can be received via email or made available at Will Call.
If you chose to have your tickets emailed to you, simply print your tickets (check your spam folder) or show your e-ticket using your mobile device.
If you have arranged to pick up your tickets at Will Call, you may do so 75 minutes prior to the performance.
If you find you’ve lost your tickets, we can replace them. Please call during business hours (9 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon–Fri) or email us at email@example.com and arrive at the Will Call table early to pick up your reissued tickets.
SOLD OUT CONCERTS
While it is a rare occurrence, Bach Consort performances do occasionally sell out. We cannot guarantee tickets will be available in person for all performances. We recommend buying tickets in advance in order to guarantee a reservation.
